Architectural Designer & Urbanist
Nathan Foust is an architectural designer and urbanist. Fueled by the passion of Legos and craft, his pursuit of dreams in the wizardry of building components, drawing visions, and crafting trinkets began as a young child. Continuing his pursuit of exploration he earned both architecture and interior architecture degrees at Auburn University. During his time at Auburn, Nathan was fortunate enough to participate in Rural Studio’s 2nd year and Thesis programs, growing a stronger passion for socially conscious architecture. Ambitions to study different types of architecture and practices he took off to Boston after graduation where, for 5 years, was exposed to a wide spectrum of design working for Kallmann, McKinnell, and Wood Architects and Davis Square Architects. This exposure eventually led him to London, UK to explore the complexities of a city at the Architectural Association earning a Masters of Housing & Urbanism degree. After a short 2 years back in Auburn teaching and practicing architecture, he was excited at the opportunity to learn, combine and implement his experiences and passion for socially conscious architecture and urban strategies at GCCDS.
